The church’s case has been re-started in court |
On November 19, after an 18 month-long-break New Life church’s case against the Minsk City Executive Committee was restarted in the Supreme Economic Court.
As a reminder: in November 2006 New Life church had filed an appeal to the Supreme Economic Court in order to deem as illegal the decision of the City’s Mayor dated on August 17, 2005 to deprive the church of its right to use the land with the following forceful purchase of its building. The forceful purchase of the building was carried out in September 2006 which made the church members to go on the hunger-strike that lasted for 23 days.

KGB is interested in the activities of church minister |
On November 10 one of the helpers of New Life church’s pastor, brother Sergei Vashkevich has come to the Department of KGB of Minsk and Minsk region in accordance to the summons paper received by him earlier.
KGB officers talked with Sergei for over 2 hours. During this talk they were asking him questions concerning the act of terror that had taken place in Minsk on July 4 this year and the past activities of Sergei in one of local NGOs... |

New Life church’s minister is being summoned to KGB |
On November 5 at around 9 PM Minsk time, to brother Sergei Vashkevich, who is one of helpers of Pastor Slava Goncharenko and a minister of New Life church, a young man dressed in civilian clothing delivered a summons paper to come to KGB. The document, in particular, states: “You are hereby obligated to come on November 10, 2008 at 2 PM to the administrative building of KGB of Minsk and Minsk region to give evidence”... |

God wants to do His great deeds through youth |
More than 20 youth ministers of New Life Church took part in the conference YOUTH 10, which went off from 29th of October to 2nd of November in Moscow on the church basis “Word of life”.
This year the speakers of the conference were pastors and ministers from Russia, Latvia and Sweden. The preachers spoke about holiness, about the necessity to look for Gods ways, who must be the Christians for this world... |

New Life Ministers took part in Witnesses’ Gospel Festival |
On the 30th -31st of October New Life Church ministers took part in Euro-Asian Witness Gospel Festival in Kiev suburbs (the Ukraine). The Festival went off within the limits of the preparation to the 3rd Lozann congress in Capetown (SAR), which was set for 2010. More than 4000 ministers will take part in this congress from more than 150 countries, uniting more than all the Christian denominations... |

Slava Goncharenko addressed to the government of Kyrgyzstan |
On the 3rd of November Slava Goncharenko sent a letter to the chief of administration of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyrkulov Medet Chakanovich, in which he asked to interfere in the conflict of city authorities of Bishkek and the church “Gods Love”.
Press-center of the Church “Gods Love” spread an appeal to the Christian community and country authorities. In it the chiefs of the church expressed their concern over the attempts of the authorities to deprive of buildings, belonging to the church “Gods Love”, obtained in 2002... |
